Takedown notice requirements

To be effective under § 512(c)(3), your written notice must include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if many works).
2. Identification of the material on Wavster that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (include the full URL on wavster.ai).
3. Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

You may submit the form below or email the agent directly. Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the uploader when contact information is available.

Counter-notice

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under § 512(g). It must include your contact information, identification of the removed material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal district court (or, if outside the U.S., any district where Wavster may be found), and your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after at least ten (10) business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the uploader from engaging in infringing activity.

Repeat infringers

Wavster maintains a policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We track valid takedown claims and may suspend or terminate upload access for users who repeatedly upload material that is subject to valid copyright complaints.

AI-generated content

Uploaders on Wavster attest that they have the rights necessary to distribute their content. AI-assisted creation does not exempt material from copyright law. If your work infringes another party's rights — including voice, likeness, or existing recordings — it may be removed regardless of how it was produced.
